Please see below for photographs of the opening of the recently renovated Narajani school in Kaski region near Pokhara. These renovations were extremely cost efficient and have resulted in an excellent facility for over 100 children who now attend the school. The renovations were funded jointly by Matthew Humberstone School, Cleethorpes and Cleethorpes Rotary who worked extremely hard to raise the money for this excellent project.

Opening Tapethok School

Pahar Trust supporters have returned from this year’s trip to Nepal. The trip was very successful. Both East and West Nepal were visited and the opening ceremonies were conducted at 3 schools. These were Tapethok, Bhanu and Sodha, a new toilet block at Hangdewa school was also opened.

A second group of Trust supporters representing Thomas's Day Schools also enjoyed a trip to Nepal this Easter. They visited several of the Pahar Trust projects that they had worked hard to raise the money to fund. The group opened Midim School and the new office and kitchen at Simpani ward 2 school, both funded through Thomas's Day Schools. Furthermore, the foundation stone was laid at Lamagaoun and at Bhujung Hostel, both of which are now under construction.
